The annual model sailing boat regatta or Valentine’s Day Cup was held this past Saturday at Bambarra beach in Middle Caicos. With the TCI ferry service laying on a remarkably smooth service of ferry and old yellow school bus it was easy as “pie” to get from literally one end of Turks and Caicos to another.

A great gathering that saw four races including the first ever “ladies race”, some delicious local food catered by the local church and cafes and funding to make it all happen from Islandcom. …

Yesterday was the second annual Maskanoo festival, a cultural celebration and street party in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

With parades, local vendors selling crafts, delicious food stands, music both DJ and local bands, cultural demonstrations and competitions it was a great afternoon and evening.…

I love aerials. Apart from the fact it’s fun hanging out of a helicopter with the door off with nothing between you and the ground 500ft below, it’s just cool to have a different perspective on such a familiar place.

Today is the 8th Annual Conch Festival in Turks and Caicos  -so having spent all morning tied to my computer editing I went along a few hours ago to check things out.

It was great to see so many familiar faces from the local restaurants, as well as other residents and locals from Turks and Caicos. Great atmosphere with David Bowen leading everyone along with conch blowing and introducing them to “ripsaw” music……

We’ve been working on several commercial shoots this summer – one of which was a lovely shoot for the Caicos Cafe. They wanted to showcase what they do and separate themselves from other restaurants in TCI.

Well – they make there own Pasta – on site – everyday. they have fresh fish – everyday and desserts that are delicious! Enjoy! The shots will be used on their website, new brochures and in several magazines.…
